On July 13, 2024, Sacred Heart Seminary Mubende joyously marked its Ruby Jubilee, celebrating 40 years of unwavering dedication to formation and service.
A Holy Celebration
The day began with a solemn Holy Mass, presided over by His Lordship Bishop Joseph Antony Zziwa, Ordinary of Kiyinda-Mityana Diocese. In his uplifting homily, Bishop Zziwa highlighted the importance of integrating seminary values into educational institutions, encouraging educators to nurture the spiritual and moral development of students.
Support for the Seminary’s Mission
The occasion was graced by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, who generously contributed UGX 40 million towards the campaign to procure a seminary bus. This noble gesture inspired others to join in supporting the seminary’s initiatives, reflecting the spirit of unity and generosity that defined the celebration.
